St. Verena

The church of St. Verena, between Lengstein and Barbian (mentioned for the first time in 1256; the tower dates from the 14th Century), lures one to stay and dream, because of its idyllic situation on a glacier-smoothed outcrop. Beautiful view to the other side of the valley. Walk from Lengstein path nr. 8 red and 35 blue to Lengstein time ca.1 ½ hour.
