In 20 minutes you can reach Bolzano by car or with public transportation. The traditional Chriskindlmarkt (Christmas market) in December, the flower market and the "Speckfest - bacon festival" in spring and the cucurbit festival in autumn take place on the Walther von der Vogelweide square.
Walking through the old town, you can feel the typical atmosphere of the Walther place, the vegetable market and the Bozner Lauben (bowers of Bolzano), the shopping street.
