The first public transportation, between Bozen and Ritten, was inaugurated on august 13th 1907. Today remains the track Maria Himmelfahrt - Oberbozen - Klobenstein. With the cable car Oberbozen - Bozen, you reach the capital of the province in 10 minutes.

The hourly tact of the train and the several stations, let the train be an comfortable transportation to or from excursions and hikes in the surrounding. Enjoy the trip with the train, through meadows and woods, with a marvellous view of the Dolomites.
In occasion of the 100th anniversairy of the train a lot of events take place from Mai till October.
